I like it!!
The ladders could make a decent foundation for a temporary offshore fishing platform. Given the currents aren't to crazy.
Heres what you need:
- Four ladders of equal height.
- Two extension planks. One plank per two ladders. Approximately 10ft long.
Google "extension plank" if you are not clear on this.
- Eight boards (2"x12") to put between two extension planks. About 6ft long.
This should be enough to build about a 50ft^2 platform for fishing or staging equipment. The capacity of your extension planks will determine how much weight it will support (approx 500lbs).
The Coast Guard is probably not going to be a big fan of this though, so you might want to be prepared to take a 50cal across the bow!!
